I grew up at Durgapur, a small industrial township in eastern INDIA. Apart from cerian sports, my passion is Robotics. Building and watching something that can move, walk, understand, react.. thats why is this fascination. Making intelligent agents.. that can even challenge humans...this can thrill anybody. I am more interested in the Artificial Intelligence aspect of the robotics problem. My research interest is in the domain of computer vision and machine learning principles and their application in mobile robotics. Lately, apart from this engineering aspect; I am getting fascinated more and more by the mathemetical and theoretical insights that you get while doing a PhD in this area!
